Hello,
I am trying to upgrade from 4.x to 5 but are running into trouble with users.It looks like the users are all migrated but when I try to log in as one I am trown back to the registration page with all fields filled in, on pressing send I get the message that use all ready excists...
another thing:Since my 4.x is pretty patched with mods and theme I would like to start out from scratch with 5.x and import users, forum, articles etc. later on is that possible? (currently I overwrite all stuff and choose migrate but that still leaves a bunch off old files behind)

Hello,
Without full access to your site and your 4.6 site in version 5, it will be very difficult to help you and answer your questions.
Can you give us on the mail guppy in the box Infos site login and password allowing access to two sites.
An update of the profile can be necessary but the preferences of members are saved during migration.

Couldn't send a pm so I mailed the "contact us" link.
I am not looking for a grab and go solution, I want to know what's happening and why.Best bet is that it has something todo with some plugin/mod. (adm members?)
The advice was to upgrade to the latest 4.6.x and then to 5.x but why?within 4.6 versions the database format wasn't changed as far as I can tell...
p.s. in the forum here my line breaks are cut away in stock editor...

The structure of the database is changed in Version 5, when migrating the database is rebuilt in the 4.6 format Guppy 5.
Using Guppy 5.0.8, data plug adm-members are recovered and used by Guppy 5.
The migration process from this page:

Unable to connect with the envoys contact codes.

Working very well now, I skipped the upgrading to latest 4.6 and went straight to 5 and it is working out of the box!
I will try to fix Dutch lang pack, are there any others working on this?
